A Safe Place for Help

Rely Center is a psychiatric urgent care and stabilization center for people experiencing a mental health and/or substance use crisis. Anyone age 5 and up may enter for care and support, whether they come on their own or are brought by family or first responders. No appointment required.

Upon entering Rely, visitors will receive immediate triage to assess their medical, behavioral health and social support needs. The goal is to reduce the crisis event and stabilize their symptoms, then create a personalized plan for further support and treatment options.

Our Team

Rely Center uses a multidisciplinary approach with a treatment team that includes trained medical, certified peer, clinical therapy and psychiatric professionals. This approach allows us to immediately screen, assess and treat patients’ medical, mental health and social needs.

Insurance

Rely Center accepts Medicaid/Medicare as well as most traditional insurance. Even if someone has no insurance or ability to pay, they will not be turned away from care.

A Comfortable, Caring Space

Snacks and drinks are provided free of charge including water, soda, nugget ice, coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and tea. The stabilization unit features semi-private recliners, warming blankets and headphones connected to a tablet device loaded with calming music, apps and other coping tools.

What Happens Next?

After stabilization of the crisis event, what happens next is entirely up to the individual. They will work alongside the team to develop a plan for safety measures, next steps, follow-up appointments and/or warm handoffs to community support. Should a higher level of care be needed, our team will arrange safe and appropriate transportation to ensure a smooth transition. And because Rely is co-located at our Noblesville health center, patients can easily access its full array of primary care, behavioral health and addictions services.

Yes. Anyone ages 5 or older can receive services at our psychiatric urgent care center. The 23-hour stabilization unit is only available to those 18 and older.

No problem. When you are experiencing a crisis, the last thing we want you to worry about is 'how am I going to pay for this?' That is why we accept all insurances, offer a sliding fee scale, and have entitlement specialists who are trained in connecting you to the best options for your insurance needs.

Don't worry! The reason we can't exceed 23 hours and 59 minutes is that it would then classify you under inpatient criteria. That is why our team will closely monitor your time at Rely and we will ensure we have a plan of care in place prior to hitting the 24-hour limit. Should your crisis not stabilize within this time, we will discuss the higher-level-of-care options available to you.

We have an array of providers we work with who provide different levels of this type of care. They might include psychiatric inpatient, detox, or other varying treatments depending on your needs. We will coordinate your transportation and care to ensure a smooth transition.

You may keep your cell phone with you during your time in the psychiatric urgent care center space as long as it is not escalating your crisis situation. If you are moved into the 23-hour stabilization unit, we will provide you with your own box to store your personal belongings. No cell phones are allowed in this space. This ensures we are creating a relaxing environment without outside distractions.

We understand that things happen. That is why we provide spare clothes that patients can access regardless of which part of Rely they are receiving services in. Simply ask your care team.

Smoking/vaping on Aspire property is not permitted. If you decide that you need to smoke/vape, we will explain your options to you. This can include nicotine gum or a patch that will be determined by our medical team. If you choose to smoke/vape, this will initiate your discharge. You can simply come back into Rely afterward to restart your admission.

Just because you have been discharged doesn’t mean the needs stop there. That is why we provide warm handoffs to needed community partners while at Rely and provide comprehensive follow-up care as part of your aftercare/discharge from Rely. We will follow up with you after your discharge and continue to provide support as needed. It is important to us that we simply don’t hand you a paper with your discharge information. We will create a thorough discharge plan that you are part of to ensure we have a strong plan in place to help with your aftercare and ongoing support.

We do. We don’t ever want transportation to be a barrier in either getting to or from Rely. That is why our transportation services are coordinated through our Mobile Crisis team, our in-house transportation department, and local transportation agencies to get you where you need to go.

Aspire operates its own in-house pharmacy and partners with several pharmacies that operate 24/7. If we identify a medication need, we will work with you to locate the best option to get these medications filled.
