Certified Medical Assistant John Ginder hesitated at first when he was approached about working at Progress House. When Indiana’s oldest recovery residence merged with Aspire Indiana Health, it meant bringing primary medical care to the facility. 

John didn’t know a lot at the time about working with those with substance use disorder. Now, more than a year later, he says the residents at Progress House have helped him more than he has helped them.
