Aspire to open COVID testing site Oct. 12

Aspire Indiana Health, working in conjunction with the Hamilton County Health Department and the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), will open its COVID testing site on Monday, Oct. 12 at its headquarters in Noblesville.

Located in Suite 6 of Aspire’s administrative building at 9615 E. 148th St., the site will provide free COVID tests by appointment, which must be made online at the ISDH website by clicking the coronavirus links, or at https://scheduling.coronavirus.in.gov/. Same-day appointments may be available.

Testing hours will be:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays -- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays -- 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Fridays -- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Results will be sent by email or text message, depending on how someone signed up. Testing is available to anyone age 2 and up.

If someone coming in for a test is experiencing symptoms of coronavirus or other illness, Aspire has set up a quick-referral procedure so they can be promptly seen at our nearby health center.

Gov. Eric Holcomb recently declared most of Indiana eligible to transition to Stage 5 of reopening with proper masking and social distancing still prescribed. EVeryone entering the testing site is required to wear a face covering.

The recent expansion of testing sites with Aspire and other community partners is part of the Hamilton Health Department’s effort to bring greater access and peace of mind to local residents who want to know their COVID status.

“We’re very proud to be offering these tests to the Hamilton community, and to partner with the state and county health departments. Their strategic planning and support has been crucial to getting additional COVID testing sites operational,” said Syd Ehmke, Vice President of Primary Healthcare Services.
