Aspire Indiana/Aspire Indiana Health has announced Tim Crockett as its new Chief Financial Officer. Crockett brings a wealth of more than 30 years of experience in financial leadership, largely in the healthcare sector.

Crockett was CFO of Breckinridge Health, a critical access hospital in Hardinsburg, Ky., where he helped lead an ambitious restructuring plan and major financial process improvements.

Previously, Tim held roles with University of Louisville Physicians, Inc.; the Jewish Hospital and St. Mary’s HealthCare; Alliant Management Services, which manages rural hospitals; and Lafayette Home Hospital. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Valparaiso University and an MBA/MSSF from Indiana University.

Crockett assumes the CFO role from Craig Baird, who retired in June after 37 years with the company. Baird has remained in a consulting role and will assist with the transition.

“Through hard work by our entire staff and embracing an ambitious vision for the future, Aspire is blessed to be in a strong financial position -- a legacy that Craig helped to build, and Tim will lead to even greater heights,” said Aspire CEO Barbara  Scott. “We are growing, not only in size but in our aspirations for how we can better serve the community as a fully integrated healthcare provider.”
